This is the latest amazing projection completed past the SAOTA studio and as always it immediately stands out and inspires. The Hillside house is situated higher up Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles and is a truly modernistic haven. The site occupies an area of twenty 000 square feet and enjoys a privileged location that gives information technology 300 degree views over the city and the beautiful skyline.
These views have been maximized by the architects who, every bit e'er, managed to create a seamless connection between the indoor and the outdoor spaces. A series of exterior areas, well-nigh of them covered, act as extensions for the indoor living spaces. The burn down pit nook in particular is a spectacular little space, featuring a drinking glass railing which allows the scenery to be admired in its entirety. Also, the fire pit seating area is surrounded by water which creates a nice and interesting contrast.
It's easy to see why this place is an oasis. It's not just the large calibration of the projection that suggests this only besides the manner in which the architecture and the house itself interacts with its surround. Both the interior and the exterior spaces experience very open and airy and they enjoy a constant and organic connection to nature and the panoramic views in particular.
The entrance into the house is marked by a large door with an interesting geometric design. Inside, the business firm is organized into 2 wings which are oriented East to W and respectively North to South. One of the basis floor spaces is a large 12-motorcar garage with a stylish a glamorous interior. For the rest of the spaces the designers reserved a palette of materials and finishes that's simple, warm and welcoming, with an emphasis on the tactile nature of the surfaces.
